This tutorial will show you how to select a default microphone to use for Voice Typing for your account in Windows 11.
Voice typing allows you to enter text on your PC by speaking.
When you connect more than one microphone input device to your PC, you can select which microphone you want to use by default for Voice Typing. The selected microphone will be used by Voice Typing no matter which default microphone you selected to use by Windows.

Here's How:
1 Start voice typing (Win+H).
2 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) button on the voice typing menu. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Select default microphone. (see screenshot below)
4 Select a connected microphone you want Voice Typing to use by default.
5 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) button to close voice typing settings.
