This tutorial will show you how to check battery usage per app for your account in Windows 11.

You can check battery usage per app to see which apps might be using more battery in the background.

Some apps let you manage background activity. If you find that an app is using a lot of battery when running in the background, you can change the Let this app run in the background setting for apps that allow it.

Here's How:

1 Open Settings (Win+I).

2 Click/tap on System on the left side, and click/tap on Power & battery on the right side. (see screenshot below)

3 Click/tap on Battery usage on the right side to expand it open. (see screenshot below step 4)

4 Under Battery levels, select Last 24 hours or Last 7 days in the drop menu for the battery usage period you want to see. (see screenshot below)

5 Under Battery usage per app, select Overall usage, In use, Background, or Names in the Sort by drop menu for how you want to sort the apps by. (see screenshot below step 6)

6 You will now see the battery usage percentage per app. (see screenshot below)

If wanted, you can click/tap on the 3 dots button for an app, and click/tap on Manage background activity (if supported) to manage background app permissions for the app.

7 When finished, you can close Settings if you like.

That's it,
