The name is a bit misleading, John. HiBit Uninstaller is much more than an uninstaller.
Have a look at all the tools on the right of this screenshot. And it's all free. I don't know for how long though.



There is also a portable version.

I downloaded the portable version it and give it a look, It does have a LOT of tools you normally need multiple apps for but I made one big mistake with it. Windows 11 makes zip files look so much like a regular folder that I launched it strait from the zip file. Well guess what that means . . . it was unable to save the reg backup and it gave no warning that it could not save it so once I exited the program the settings and backup were lost. Probably no harm as I did look pretty close at what it was cleaning up. Maybe it should not close if it cannot save the settings.

With all these optimization/debloat/cleaning software, has anyone done a side-by-side comparison? Like which utilities can be completely replaced by others? Or which one is the best for some specific issues?

An embarrassment of riches.

I use the older, non screwed up, version of the free CCleaner. It lets you choose from a number of categories - some not harmful and some iffy. For me, most importantly, it lets lets me add my own category with additional files and folders I want to clean. Any worthwhile cleaner should have that feature.

Same here! It's hands down the best option out here, gotta be careful around updates though so that they wouldn't ruin the perfection of an older version.

I just ran a test of Sparkle cleanup after using my PC all day for various things. I found 4 problems with it:

1. It got hung up saying it was preparing a cleanup report
2. It didn't clean almost 2 GB that SirCLeaner found and cleaned
3. It said I had no Restore points when in fact I had 1

It does centralize a bunch of tools & options in a nice layout that looks good on a 4K monitor, so for someone who doesn't already have a good set of tools for maintaining a system it might be a good choice. I'm just not that person.

I have stopped using CCleaner long ago, and only an old version before Avast bought them. I mostly use BleachBit as it has so many options and you can import available Winapp2.ini to add new options. You have to test functions to assure they do not affect YOUR system in ways you don't like. I came upon my setup by testing after system images so any bad effects could be wiped clean. I backup the BleachBit.ini so I can restore my setup if needed after a fresh install or update
