Delay using shortcut to web pages

I noticed after 22H2 my shortcuts to any web page there is a delay before page opens...I can go to windows 10 and use the same shortcut to same web page without any type of delay...It isn't just one or two it is all shortcuts...Some type of security check maybe???

It would appear to me that Windows is locating the page called for before opening the browser. By "all shortcuts" does that mean the ones that can be created on the Desktop for programs such as a program's .exe file when right-clicking and Send to, Desktop (create shortcut)? A random thought, maybe the security of the site is also being checked before opening?

Talking about shortcuts to web pages...No such delay in Windows 10...or at least on my computer...Used both Firefox and Edge..same results

How was the shortcut created on the Desktop? That was why the question about other shortcuts, diagnosing if they worked properly. Many simply-appearing things are interwoven with the Operating System and variables can affect them. I just dragged the lock at the left end of a URL to my Desktop to create the shortcut and it opened as expected.

Yes right click on desktop , new. shortcut, then add the link to the webpage

I've found it works better while on a page then dragging the Lock icon to the Desktop.

As to the Security features of Win11 and the Internet, using a Web shortcut on my desktop I just went to a site and got a pop-up before the page fully loaded that said Verified by Cloudflare, was a tab bit slower in opening.
