I have white Logitech Z150 speakers.

How do I connect the speaker cable to this desktop computer? And where on the case should I plug it in?

Their description states:

The only place would be thru the Headphone jack from I can see on the case.

There’s supposed to be a green jack on the back of the case, but I don’t see one—and there really should be, because I have another desktop computer and it has a green jack on the back. So, where is it on the new one?

Poor choice of thread title.

The Z150 has a 3.5mm analog audio plug.

According to its owners manual, the QVS1260 SFF has no analog port in the I/O panel.

It has a headphone/microphone jack in the front, above the USB-A ports. You can plug the Z150 into that.

An alternative would be an inexpensive adapter that plugs into one of the USB-A ports. I've never used one, though.

Because in micro/mini systems, manufacturers do not install a jack dedicated strictly for wired speakers anymore.

If you are using a Displayport/HDMI output you can pickup the sound via the your monitor?

I have a Dell AW2723 that has a built in line out socket - works by routing sound from Display port (or HDMI) input.

Why ask us? Go ask the place you bought it from or better yet the manufacturer.
To answer your second question:
I do not know if the sound quality will be any good though.

SFF or Small Form Factor models are designed for office work. They don't offer as many input or output options as a consumer PC.
Yes, you can buy an USB audio adapter.

It's modern. Released in 2024, 14th generation Intel CPU.

Apparently, Dell thinks no business user would want to connect speakers to a SFF PC. But the front headphone jack remains an option.

If you wished to plug into one of the back USB ports, there are adapters available. Be sure to get one that includes a DAC (digital to analog converter). There are no analog audio signals from a USB port. There may be some very cheap devices on the market which are fake; no DAC.

There are fully-blown USB external sound cards, but they'd be pointless for stereo sound. Don't waste your money.

The same reason a laptop doesn't have a green speaker jack. It doesn't need one. They both have an audio jack. Have you tried to plug your speakers into the audio jack on the front of your computer?

The 3 zone male 3.5mm jack will usually ground out inside a 4 zone female 3.5mm port!
(4 zone for audio and mic on a headset)

Yes, Dell doesn't have a speaker jack plug in the rear on their small tower desktop computers any more. I purchased a Dell ECT1250 last year (not the slim unit) which has no jack plug in the rear, as well. You might still be able to get a rear jack plug on their large full tower computers. Maybe the only way to get one in the rear is thru an expansion card? Make sure you get one that fits the case before ordering.
