Solved Desktop Disaster

windows 11 is running OK. I say OK, not great. Since this thread I had probls with files vanishing and desktop icons showing a small white box . I using Hasleo to do backups but the software itself vanishes from the pc after a few days so I had to reinstall it. I will now try startallback, mentioned by Winuser. It may be coincidence but it all seems to emanate after updates.

If possible you should do a clean install. You're experiencing way too many problems. Image your computer first then do the clean install. I would run the computer a day or two to see if the problem is gone. If it is then you can install your programs. If not, you know it's a hardware and not software problem.

the problems seem to have all resolved from back then and I did do a clean install at the time. I had a look at Start all back but a warning came up, this is incompatible with Explorerpatch. So I had a look around without tweaking. I think I already have most of the tweaks and more in a different software.

Hardware diagnostics all indicate Healthy.
