I'm getting really tired of Microsoft breaking my 5.1 surround output.
I have a Z-906 5.1 500W speaker system for a reason, and it's not to watch TV. I need 6 ch discrete sound not DTS or Dolby.
I'm looking at Sound Blaster cards and can find plenty of info about them, but nothing about this "Creative Nexus" app you need to use them.
I don't want cloud or online or any of that crap. I just want an EQ and some room correction. Rear speakers are 9 feet away, front ones are 2.5 feet, that stuff.
Does anyone actually use this "Creative Nexus App"?
Details on its features and requirements, screenshots, or any actual hands-on experience would be appreciated.
