"At this point, call it what you want. It's no different than buying a Nissan and calling it a Ferrari. No matter what you call it, the program has a name and you're using the wrong name for it."
I am less ignorant on cars than computing, but anybody who calls a Nissan Ferrari is .... Seriously, you asked me to present document to support my calling it OUTLOOK? I have none, other than the fact it was OUTLOOK , more than a decade ago, OUTLOOK throughout these years, and still is OUTLOOK that sends me daily automated notification that one of my addresses is out of sync. The MSN rep who assisted me through quick assist screen sharing fixed it by tweaking OUTLOOK mail setting. So if it is not OUTLOOK, why is everybody, including you, calling it OUTLOOK. The MSN rep did not call it mail. He said I "Need to review your OUTLOOK setup with this out of sync address.:, Is it possible that MSN is not the only party that calls its mail just "mail"? I know MSN (or Windows mail?) mail has white closed envelope icon. OUTLOOK had and still has blue opened envelope. My "Nissan" mail has blue icon, opened as always.
