Epson Printer Prints Out Jibberish...
I have a Epson Printer Expression XP-335...several years old now but still runs ok.
The only issue is that when i print something from a website...I use Mozilla Firefox latest version...the printer prints out page of jibberish symbols.
The only workaround i found is to save all the page in my Document folder and click on the relevant page section i want and click print and save as pdf using Microsoft Print to Pdf option and open my Sumatra Pdf program and then use my Epson Printer to print out the page.
My Epson Printer's driver is up to date and uninstalled all Epson Printer software and re-installed and still get jibberish symbols.
All cables are not damaged.
Anyone know what is occuring ? And how to get back printing normally..

Does the printer print MS word etc documents normally.
If it does then the problem would lie with the way firefox is sending the information to
the printer to be printed.
this may also help a page from firefox community on how to hopefully et it sorted out

try printing the same website using latest Google Chrome or MS Edge browser to see if it produces the same results as Firefox

I just printed this page on my Networked HP LaserJet from Firefox and Edge, no gibberish but will need to manipulate the printer settings in Edge to get the same result/view as in Firefox.

this is a known bug in FF, please try.

after following the 'reset firefox printer settings'
in FF settings > general > fonts > advanced
please try changing the default fonts.
you may have to find the fonts you are using in your system printer settings
and get these fonts to match the same on FF.
this may or may not be of any help, best of luck. Steve ..

Also try printing to a pdf file to see if that is gibberish. This will rule out the Epson driver if the pdf file is gibberish.

Thanks for replies,
Tried suggesstion from XxXxX...did not work
Printed a page as a test using Microsoft Edge...wow...no jibberish symbols...therefore not a Epson Printer issue.
So,there a bug in Firefox which i think developers have not fixed yet from what i read on Mozilla Community Forum.
Firefox developers maybe concentrating on more important stuff.
For the moment i'll continue using Microsoft to Pdf save as option.
Have a nice day to all that have replied.
