I've been using EXCEL for years using Msquery to get data from, MySQL / MariaDB data sources and get data from Web.
Both these are now depracated (they still work but you need to go into EXCEL->Options->Legacy data sources and check the box to enable them.
If these do become unavailable what are the new functions to perform these operations in future -- I can't see the need for retrieving data either fro the web or from remote MariaDB/MySQL databases going away any time soon --in fact the need becomes greater !!!!.
Just a reminder - to enable these in EXCEL LTSC 2024 and EXCEL in Office/365
(Don't forget also if using Microsoft Query to also install the ODBC connector for MySQL / MariaDB databases).
This one works for both MariaDB and Oracle's MySQL with EXCEL in Office 2024.
