Erin's has 10 on it and I'm not going to upgrade it. She's happy with 10 so why change it?

I can't remember the key combo to restore the chromebook, but it is a fairly easy process. I haven't had a chrombook for almost 4 years now but have thought about another one. There is a pretty good documentation article for restoring it on google.Doesn't take long either.

@Alexey2912, If you're mind is made up to install another SSD, keep the OS on the original 2230 drive and buy a 2280 drive to use as your data drive. Even if the 2280 drive is faster you won't be able to notice any speed difference. I do hope you're not planning on another clean install.

NO more clean installs.....done with the guy.
Thanks for the advice!

Yes, it is possible. Every time I tried to use the clone feature of Macrium the computer wouldn't boot. If you do a image restore you can resize the C partition in Macrium while doing the restore. Restore Image.

Of course it is.
Also, Macrium only makes an image of the used space not the entire drive.
If you have a 1 TB Hard drive and make a image with Macrium, you could put that image on a 512GB or 500GB SSD, as long as the used space of the hard drive will fit.

I had the same issue with Macrium, I used the Samsung Data Migration software and it worked perfectly.
Only works with Samsung drives. But then, how often do you clone a drive.
