Inaccurate according to who? Various sources have FF in the 140M to 160M users."The FF market share as a desktop browser (over 150 millions users) is pretty stable:"
Inaccurate, no surprise to anyone.

You keep showing your language settings dialog. That has nothing to do with spell check. You need a dictionary of the appropriate language.

What happened to Max? Didn't he allow enough headroom?
He certainly will have done or written something that John did not like. What happened to Max? Didn't he allow enough headroom?
How about when you're posting in an on-line forum like this one? Sometimes my fingers don't do what my brain tells them to do, and having the obvious error underlined makes it stick out and easy to spot.Spell checks are fine for office type stuff - word, power point etc or e-mail but I can't conceive of another use in a browser -- perhaps I've missed something here - so I'd be glad of a bit on enlightenment.
Yes. I've noticed this too. I'm guessing some techie terms might have been added to the dictionary because many of these won't pass the general scrutiny of standard spell checkers. Whatever the case may be the spell checker on this forum is purty durn good. The spell checks on this forum alone when posting in any browser seem to work pretty decently !!! Whether it uses the basic browsers built in facility or there's extra software on the Forum who'se to say -- I certainly haven't added any extra dictionaries or whatever to the default firefox install (or konqueror - the Linux built in browser for the KDE desktop).

IDK anything about their financial situation ATM, but I hope not. I like a choice of browsers and Firefox is my go-to.I used to use firedfox years ago but switched like many to chrome when it became popular, I then moved to Edge which i preferred and used for many years now due to some video playback issues and the fact Chrome will soon stop us blocking adverts I decided to give Firefox another try, I am finding Firefox a joy to use and wish i had switched back years ago however having watched many review videos before installing it it would seem the majority believe it'll soon be over for Firefox and we will all be stuck with no option but to use a chrome based browser, i hope this is not the case.
Do those that use it regularly believe the time may be up or is there is life in the old dog yet?
"...the US Department of Justice is moving to force Google to cut off its competitors and divest from Chrome,"
AOL?Which means Google will no longer be able to back and support Chrome as well. Can one really imagine that's gonna happen? -lol
And who would pick up the reins even if it did?
