I often wondered why Peter didn't spell foobar with a capital F:

When Peter Pawłowski created the initial project file in Microsoft Visual C++ (MSVC) in 2002, he simply needed a temporary name to fill the "project name" box so he could start writing code immediately. He spent about five minutes thinking about it, typed in "foobar2000" entirely in lowercase, and ultimately kept it because he wanted to focus on building the media player rather than worrying about branding.

Yes, foobar2000 can play SACD ISO images and raw DSD files, but it requires a third-party plugin to do so.
How to Enable SACD/ISO Playback:
Out of the box, foobar2000 does not support DSD or ISO files. To get it working, follow these steps:
1. Download the Plugin: You need the Super Audio CD Decoder input plugin (often named foo_input_sacd). You can find it on SourceForge.
2. Install the Component: Open foobar2000, go to File > Preferences > Components, click the Install button, and select the .fb2k-component file from the downloaded folder.
3. Restart the Player: Click Apply, restart foobar2000, and it will now be able to open and read .iso files directly.

This great to know and will be playing around with it.

I want to convert the ISO to flac or even dsd and will research this.

My jriver is slow and sluggish and in it is only a few versions old, and it like to freeze, so trying something new.

You'll need foo_dsd_converter component, flac files will not remain lossless as foobar does not support DSD pass-through.
