the tutorial on here is out of date now
having great difficulty with something that should be so simple

every time i create a schedule it vanishes, cant see how to do a manual backup with incremental selected it keeps doing full backups

Haven't used Hasleo, but perhaps it is a setting what to do for each backup, it should be there that you select full or incremental, not at the scheduler.

Obviously the default setting is to do a full backup, so scheduling a backup will do a full backup. The OP must change it to fo an incremental backup instead and confirm it is working on next schedule. I haven't used Hasleo, so I cannot give step by step instructions.

it still gives out keys so presumably it can still be activated. I would guess it is a one year liceense. everybody gets the same key.

Dont know what happens after a year. If it reverts to the free functions or if you would need to either buy it, or install the free version instead

Before Hasleo introduced paid versions, they said there would always be a free version and that the paid versions would be lifetime licenses and inexpensive. I posted about it on Tenforum. For now, this seems to be confirmed regarding the lifetime license and the inexpensive price, which I know is subjective.

Now we have time to decide on free vs paid parameters without the Damocles Sword of suddenly being unable to recover in emergency. (As it stands, I use Macrium 8 paid, Aomei and Hasleo free - really not a hassle to keep them updated fortnightly).

No matter the expiration of the Windows application, the bootable rescue USB should always work. Just create one and keep it safe.

At this time, the bomb was removed.

If the time bomb is activated, then the bootable iso gives error after a certain time.
I am tested in a virtual environment.
