    …still on a horse.
I use OneDrive, I really don't understand the paranoia behind it.
Because MS forces it on the user, it can not be even disabled before the first login anymore and as the result, it steals user's files afterwards by grabbing common folders, then removing local files and when the users uninstall it, they are lost. I once made a mistake by removing onedrive's files online (not knowing that it already removed local files) and then uninstalling it, thus losing all my files forever. I mitigate it's behavior by moving folders to another partition to be able to fix all this nonsense after a clean install.

And now, the rest of the story!

I don't spend one thin dime with Microsoft, because everything they 'Sell' is FREE in a slightly different version someplace else.
Office, for instance, is FREE as "Open Office" or "Libre Office". So, unless you're really wealthy, GET SMART and download a FREE version of Office. I did...back in 2007, and I've never regretted it. Saved a ton of money too!

One Drive? I don't want any part of it! It's GONE within ten minutes of me installing Windows 11.
It's just a freakin' program, and like any program it can be UN-Installed. Revo Uninstaller does a great job of getting rid of One Drive and a whole bunch of other Crap (apps) that MS includes with Windows.
A Clean Machine makes for a happy user.

If there had been any way i could have made my old copy of word that came with a computer in 1997 i would have never downloaded the Microsoft 365.

But even as i was able to get my old copy of word installed it just would not work correct.

Then i even tried a word processor i used years ago Word Perfect i downloaded a free trial copy, but every time i started typing a pop up asked me if i was ready to buy it, i just removed the program and will just my use my other two older computers that have my old word on them to write with.
And the problem i find with all the so called free trial programs like Open Office, you download a free trial copy and before you can use it they are asking you for money, i just again remove the program.
