How to revert to old Start Menu without using third party tools?

I got the dreaded huge new Start Menu after the KB5089573 preview update. I only updated on the hearsay the update offered faster performance speeds and that was even wasting half day figuring out why the darn update wouldn't install an issue many are also having ...LoL

Does the toggle vivetool /disable /id:47205210 or vivetool /enable /id:47205210 still work?

I know these two toggle still works:
vivetool /enable /id:61754985,61225604,61596616,61596617,61596618,61596619 <-- Old Small Start Menu
vivetool /disable /id:61754985,61225604,61596616,61596617,61596618,61596619 <-- New Large Start Menu

vivetool /disable /id:47205210,49221331,49381526,49402389,49820095,55495322,48433719 <-- Old Small Start Menu
vivetool /enable /id:47205210,49221331,49381526,49402389,49820095,55495322,48433719 <-- New Large Start Menu

Also remove another annoyance of the Start Menu Recommendation Group Folders
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
'NoStartMenuMorePrograms"=dword:00000001

Not a fan of using Windhawk as it runs in the background.

This vivetool works great for Beta and Dev builds but not out for RP and public yet.

Is that a screenshot of 26H2 (26300.xxxx) ?
There also another issue with the "Search for apps, settings and documents" menu size it does not become smaller like the Start Menu after using these ViVeTool tweaks.

No, that's my 25H2 Beta Build 26220.8544

Enable the new Start menu resize and customization settings.

I did, but I don't get those layout options in the Settings Personalization menu like you have. My build is 25H2 (26200.8524)

Won't work on that build I'm afraid, only Beta and above insider builds. It's coming though eventually.

The new Start Menu forced itself today on my PC, and it wouldn't disappear even after consecutive restarts. I would like to revert it without using third party tools, as those tools usually do more than just revert a setting and I don't want that (Windows 11 is so prone to files corruption/breaking nowadays).

Does anyone know of a way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

I run OpenShell so the default start menu is hidden. Never see it.

Nope. They probably removed the old Start Menu code entirely. It doesn't make sense to keep two different sub-versions of the software when they've already committed to making more upcoming changes to Start Menu. From MS's perspective, there's no value in dragging around the oldest changes even if the users hate it.

But you never know. I mean they strangely brought back the ability to relocate the Taskbar to the other 3 sides of the screen...

You can use the hack in my post #42 to get the smaller Start Menu back
