i cant login as administrator

this all started when i tried to remove the lock screen on windows 11, i used the windows+r keys and typed "netplwiz" from some forum i found on google (like this one) and goofed up a setting and now my pc will not run anything as i am not the administrator and when asked to allow changes "no" is my only option and i cant find anywhere to login as admin and cannot change my account type through the control panel because i have no admin access, i built this pc myself, now this wild idea after about of year of trouble free usage has managed to screw everything up, i am desperate for help, ive already killed one monitor because of this.

You could use option five in the tutorial below to enable the bult-in Administrator account at boot. Afterwards, you can sign in to this "Administrator" account to change your account's type back to administrator.

If you are signing in with a Microsoft account then you can probably recover or change the password here:

If your using a Local account then this link may help you change or recover your password:

Boot from install media and reset the password with command prompt there.

If this is for a local account, then you can change your account's password while signed in to the built-in Administrator like below.


If this is for a Microsoft account, then you'll have to reset your account's password online at Microsoft like option 5 below. Once reset, it'll sync with your devices when they are online next.
