This is nuts...

I checked the updates today and KB5031354 was not there.
There were many others, I was happy and ran the updates, restarted the PC, and the same story...
But know with KB5032190..

Should I try to manually update that?

I'm afraid to do anything as Micirsift updates are a nightmare!

You just said KB5031354 - both of your pictures show KB5031355.

Are you getting offers to install KB5031354 or KB5031355?

Did you try manually uninstalling the one you installed, then letting Windows Update fix everything?

Sorry for the confusion, but the problem now resides on KB5032190.
So all the issues regarding other Updates are non relevant now.

This is the last info about my issue....

1)
I downloaded from the catalog the following update:
windows11.0-kb5032190-x64_fdbd38c60e7ef2c6adab4bf5b508e751ccfbd525.msu

2)
I restarted the PC and the following messages appears (translation added):

"Something hasn't gone as planned.
You don't have to worry about undoing the changes.
Keep the device plugged in."

3)
When PC restarts, I get into windows update and this appears:

I was afraid of that. I didn't mention it would probably say you didn't need it.

It was just a wild guess. There's been a lot of weirdness when going from 22H2 to 23H2.
I thought it might help.

The logfile doesn't contain any relevant details. Usually it is more than 100 MB.
To avoid 3rd-party programs being involved in the failing update you could run a "clean boot" and try the update without any interfering progs

I used the wushowhide and I could hide the troublesome update.

Then, because I'm stubborn I tried to install it from the catalog.

The update could not be installed.

What happens if I just don't install the KB5032190 update?
