When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

Well the e-ciggs aren't free here, and I can't vape around the oxygen either.
It's OK though... I'm saving a lot/month, and can spend the extra on more.... Stuffed Shells. :-)

Almost went to a garden centre myself Bree but settled for the car boot sale over the road instead. There can be a good selection of plants being sold there ..but not today. I was particularly looking for primroses of different colours. Tried growing them from seed but I think they have failed.

It's difficult giving up ciggs but it is possible. It ten years since I gave up with the help of nicotine patches and lozenges. No vapes then.

Yeah, I quit before in 2018 for 9 months... but then had a cholesterol heart attack and thought... why am I trying so hard to quit, and went back to smoking.

I used to keep my ciggs on the right side of my computer desk.
Now... everytime I finish eating something... I find myself reaching to the right, for the non-existent ciggs.

The urge doesn't last too long, and I do have the nicotine gum.
