There is no OEM update for the AMD FirePro 4150 that works with Windows 11.

Installed Radeon Settings Lite which provided a GUI to this dedicated graphics card.

I've installed the 25.12.1's on my desktop system with the RX 7900 XTX. They can't be any worse than the 25.11.1's which weren't very good at all and had numerous bugs and issues for many users.

Be careful downloading that driver from anyone but AMD. I did that and was very lucky I had created a system restore point.

I have always gotten mine from Guru3D.com and never had any issues, this time was different. The bios could not start Windows 11 Pro, but it allowed me to do a Systems Restore. I have a habit of creating a restore point before I do updates. 😃 I am not 100% positive that it was this AMD update that caused my problem, but the Guru3D.com zip file is about 100K bigger than the AMD zip file and that makes me suspicious.

It might also be the Windows 11 Pro preview version 7462 because I have three other auto update programs that don't work properly from Asus. Intel & Logitech.

In any event, I ran the file downloaded from AMD and my system starts up.

One way of making sure the correct AMD GPU software/driver is downloaded for your video card is to start on the page linked below.
There are actually 3 different versions of the software/driver package download available from AMD currently:
whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-25.12.1-win11-a.exe (for RDNA 1 & 2 videocards)
whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-25.12.1-win11-b.exe
whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-25.12.1-win11-c.exe (the so-called combined driver package).


I always only use this page to download the correct software/driver package because it points me to the page with the web link to the download of the specific software/driver package for my RX 7900 XTX.

This is something interesting I have never noticed before. The "a""b""c" naming extension. Honestly I have switched to using the combined package, where appropriate. The combined package, at least to me, seems favorable when using all AMD hardware(CPU and GPU) due to the AMD Install Manager included. That makes updating both the GPU driver and Chipset drivers easy.
However the one gotcha here is with the vendor supplied hardware like laptops and mini PCs. As with Intel iGPUs typically the drivers for dedicated GPUs may or may not be meant for iGPUs or mobile graphics products.

AMD recommends OEM-provided drivers which are customized and validated for their system-specific features and optimizations.

If you experience issues using the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition driver package downloaded from AMD.com, please install the OEM-provided drivers for full support and compatibility.

AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition does not include support for handheld gaming devices.  Users should check with the OEM for device specific drivers.

Based on my test before I posted above I initially downloaded the Adrenaline driver for a 6xxx gpu and got the "A" version. Then downloaded the driver for a 7xxx based GPU and got the "B" version. I think that's how I remember. I can go test again to be sure. I suspect the "A" and "B" designates a specific RDNA series.
