Killer has been nothing but junk as their WiFi disconnects over 60 times a day or stops communicating due to high traffic. That's why everyone replaced it with Intel cards before Intel bought the company.

i wish Intel hadn't bought them as they were a reliable place to get Broadcomm drivers from until that point. Now I am glad I don't see many people with them anymore.

How do you tell which devices use killer that are made by Intel? Could you swap them for the intel wifi drivers or are they device specific?

Hmm, did you mean Broadcom or did you actually mean Qualcomm/Atheros? Because I think the way you would tell is by looking at the Bluetooth drivers to see which one it uses but that's only if you had Bluetooth as part of the device. I just know the Killer 1535 was a piece of you know what as I always used the latest Qualcomm drivers and whether or not there was Killer's Performance Suit and their support is no help, it had the same problem and sync no surf multiple times a day. Soit could only be they are bad at WiFi but good for wired networking.

I think you can tell which devices are Killer with Intel chipsets because it's in the list here, so basically these are Intel AX201 or AX210 with Killer's name on it or basically WiFi6 and newer:

When it was still Rivet Networks, at least they had an uninstaller utility that allowed you to disable the killer Software Suite. With Intel, though, there are only instructions on how to uninstall the software and manually delete the leftover bits, no utility. And I'm running the latest 3.0.xxxx Beta drivers and KSS, and the utility can't even find KSS installed.

Hope Intel creates a new utility like the one Rivet did. But I am not holding my breath for it.

I still have the uninstaller if you need it. Yes, the KSS ran only once when I initially installed it initially when the 3.0.xxx Beta drivers were out but no amount of uninstalling using their utility and then reinstalling had gotten the utility to work again other than Microsoft Store showing it's installed. I have since upgraded to the Intel AX210NGW which is the same as the Killer Wi-Fi6E AX1675.

Shows I shouldn't answer questions when I am tired. Yes, I meant Qualcomm, since they didn't actually made drivers themselves for their devices.
I only ever got people to install the driver only, their website had a link that let you just get it. I haven't seen killer much this year. Other makers wifi cards are problems but thats another story.

Actually, you might be right as I googled earlier and it did say Broadcom, Qualcomm, Intel and others all were labeled as Killer branded cards. All the WiFi cards have their shares of problems just Killer seems to be worse for whatever reason since even if you install Qualcomm's latest drivers, the problems still exist but it doesn't exist on the generic Qualcomm cards using the same chipset that is not Killer branded.

I should have said it only worked in the first version once with 3.x and not the 2nd and latest version.

Yup. Because it did work ion the last beta here as well. I missed mentioning that myself, so we're good.
Did that one work on each reboot because mines worked only one time and never worked again even when rebooting.

Intel Killer Ethernet Controllers are designed specifically for competitive gamers and performance-hungry users. High-performance routers are rapidly moving to support 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, so Intel Killer Ethernet Controllers are perfect for gamers who want to take advantage of faster speeds to win more and get the most out of their online experience.

Intel Killer Wireless products combine industry-leading Wi-Fi connectivity1 with powerful gaming network technology to minimize lag, latency, and packet loss. These intelligent, optimized solutions enable immersive online experiences with minimal user effort.

In my experience the worst driver/software ever created. With Windows 10 I was able to get my network running with expected high speeds however it took much time and effort to get there. With Window 11 I'm back to the same historical issues with this crap and nowhere really to turn. With Windows 10 I was finally able to ditch both the driver and software, how you ask? I freakin don't remember my steps and can no longer come to the end result I had with the previous OS. Has anyone ever been able to replace the driver altogether with something not even remotely related to Rivet's Killer Ethernet? Or do I need to adjust my meds?

I have a Killer 1650i adapter in my laptop and it refused to connect to my old router's 5GHz WiFi access point. After 6 months with this crap while using 2.4GHz access point, I found out that these Killer cards are just Intel cards with different drivers. So, I uninstall Killer stuffs completely including their control centre and installed Intel Wi-Fi drivers (AX201NGW written alongside Killer 1650i in the backside of my laptop). And guess what? It works perfectly now.
