MX Creative Console & Actions Ring
  • Actions Ring is a customizable on-screen overlay that lets you quickly access and customize app actions, keyboard shortcuts, and adjustments. Previously available only on MX devices, it’s now accessible on all compatible Logi Options+ mice and keyboards.

  • Dialpad's dial & roller configuration controls are now disabled when the LogiPluginService is not running.

yeah, i got my first PC the summer of 1987 :-) so i have been using several ms-dos versions and IBM dos :-)
I have all versions of windows.. even the weird one BOB *LOL* 😁
Even i dont use win10/11 home/pro i still have saved the ISO's to the collection of software. 😎

I dont want to experiment on my win7 as I'm using that one as multimedia device to my TV and home cinema system.. and my server is down right now, so i cant boot up a VM to test in.. That's why i asked instead of just test. 😇
Okay.. i remember as it was logi Options that followed the mouse.. that was from win7, 8 + 10... Can i remember wrong then. :think:
Do you know where SetPoint for win7 can be downloaded?

So Logi Options stopped working for my Mx Master 3 (in fortnite my fwd/back buttons stopped working). Tried logitune and that didnt fix it, tried logi options + and no matter what i do, i keep getting a backend issue.

Anyway to fix it? (win 11 24h2)

Absolutely love what they did with the Crown knob on the Craft Keyboard now that Options+ supports it. Some examples.....


Depending on the app you're in, on even from the desktop, it will show the available options for that item. Nice (y)

Oh man! I know you like using customization software from Stardock etc., have you tried disabling those while trying to install Logi? Maybe trying to install it from Safe Mode? I take it 1.94 won't install either?

I have it working under my laptop running 23H2 with the MX 3S Mouse. Works like a charm.

Didn't realize you could use a mouse. Just assign a button to Actions Ring. Than click that button and the Actions Ring will show.

Anyone else experience Logi+ slowing down system shutdown/restart? I found a couple of threads on this which describe my experience, which consists of the Event Log entry recording a 5 second delay, and I sometimes also get a message about a program "t" slowing down shutdown/restart, which I independently determined is logioptionsplus_agent.exe.

Also, I sometimes use Sysinternals Process Monitor to explore various things, and I noticed that logioptionsplus_agent.exe is continuously hitting the disk for what appear to all be running programs. There will be like 200 entries all in a row over 500 msec, and it does it once a second. It's always contributing .1-.4% CPU usage on my Ryzen 9 9900x system. Software like this annoys me and I'd like to get rid of it, but I think certain customizations will go away if I do, like the bottom button on my Marathon Mouse, which I've configured to send F5 to various programs like web browsers. I haven't found a way to map that button in Autohotkey, unfortunately.
