Different Batch files run at different times ? Some after setup is finished and before setting the user account and other similar stuff ? Coz hardware chk and tpm chk should be performed at very beginning, right ?Better yet, do as I have done. Put it in a .bat file on your 24H2 install USB.
For good measure, I also have a copy of the original BypassNRO.cmd, and batch files with the registry settings for the clean install and the in-place upgrade workarounds.
(Who needs Rufus?)

This thread is gonna cop a hiding when 25H2 arrives.![]()
So, no hoops to jump through for unsupported hardware?I don't see why, nothing much will change. 25H2 is just 24H2 with an enablement package.
I'm already running 25H2 in the form of the Dev build on my unsupported System Two.
Yes, each batch file has a different purpose and time to be used. I prefer my batch files to using Rufus because, other than adding these extra files, the USB is unmodified. It can still be used for a completely standard install on a supported device.Different Batch files run at different times ? I wouldn't really consider Rufus as "modifying" the USB media. What it does is create a hidden unattended file (on your behalf) in the Panther folder. You could copy the exact same file yourself without needing Rufus.Yes, each batch file has a different purpose and time to be used. I hope you made sure that it was a 5th gen of later 11e, earlier generations didn't have a supported processor. However I did find a used Lenovo thinkpad 11e (mentioned by @Bree) with a pentium and 8gb so have sent for that.
It's a Pentium N5000 and I think that's supported - from 2017 onwards. There was one with a Core i3 but that wouldn't have been supported as it was only 7th generation.I hope you made sure that it was a 5th gen of later 11e, earlier generations didn't have a supported processor.

Right - no it won't support 24H2 - that's annoying - better cancel it again. I thought all recent Pentiums were ok.There is a list of supported
24H2 Intel CPU
Your link lists processors that OEM's are allowed to use in new PCs to be supplied with 24H2. The Pentium Silver N5000 is not on that list. There is a list of supported

So it is suported?Your link lists processors that OEM's are allowed to use in new PCs to be supplied with 24H2. The Pentium Silver N5000 is not on that list.
It is on my list, with a caveat that while it is supported for W11, OEMs should not use it in new W11 PCs. Customers are free to put W11 on it though.
Yes, it's supported. I bought an 11e with an N5000 for my grandson and clean installed 24H2 on it with no issues. So it is suported?
Thanks. So cancelled it and uncancelled it againYes, it's supported. I bought an 11e with an N5000 for my grandson and clean installed 24H2 on it with no issues.
How is the screen? When I tried the Dell 11 equivalent, it was nice, but the screen was so bad I could hardly see anything. Thick toughened glass and washed out colours.Yes, it's supported. I bought an 11e with an N5000 for my grandson and clean installed 24H2 on it with no issues.
Almost all touch screens are Corning Gorilla Glass, and the 11e is no exception. It seemed bright enough for me.How is the screen? When I tried the Dell 11 equivalent, it was nice, but the screen was so bad I could hardly see anything. Thick toughened glass and washed out colours.

A range of 200-400 nits is good for indoor usage, 400-700 is good for outdoor covered usage, and anything above 1000 is good for direct sunlight.
