Hello,

On my newly bought HP Envy 17 laptop I am getting a notification stating that there is an issue with my Microsoft account and I need to fix it. I am logged in with my account, a @live.com email. There is no problem with my account. Why is this happening?

Hello, thanks for your reply. sorry not sure if I fully understand you.
Yes, I am also using my older laptop but on that one I am not using this Microsoft account.
So, why is this happening? I am getting this Notification every day.

I agree with Samuria that it's flakey.... what I've done that seems to work (for me) is sign out of the MS account, and then sign in with a local account. Then sign out of the local account and sign back in with the MS account.

I tried clicking on the verification message and was immediately taken to my Microsoft Account since I was already logged in to my account. So far, the message hasn't appeared again.
