microsoft edge wont open on any of my computers

yesterday morning edge worked on both my desktop and laptop w11 pro on both... after closing out poof wont open at all
tried restarting repairing and download new from microsoft store nothing
tried you tube fixes nope i am online as brave and duck duck go work... also scanned for virus none present
seems like a case of a lost permission system restore fails so tried tat too
any help appreciated stv357

Edge Canary 142.3589 fails to start

After the Canary 3582.0 version update it failed to start, so i waited till this release. I uninstalled it and still it wont start at all, What can be wrong, is it wrong Edge redriver, or what it is called. It just wont start, like it would be blocked, but nothing is there to block it for what...

Good question, I wonder if the OP has tried disabling all extensions in Edge?

Also, could try running Edge with In Private Mode which also disables extensions.

If Edge does not open, it is hard to open it it in a Private mode. I face the same problem. No extensions. I blame Copilot. :think:
