Who knows, but a lot of comments you find on the Interweb claim these are repurposed MSDN licenses. It's been many (MANY) years since I had my hands on a set of MSDN CDs and I know the keys on those CDs are able to be used on multiple machines but I don't think they were meant to be used this way. It would be helpful if these vendors could explain how they're able to offer this software for pennies on the dollar. It just doesn't smell right. Just my (perhaps helplessly uninformed) opinion. "If it's too good to be true..."

It seems all good, I plumped for it and the key is actually set up and verified on the Microsoft Office home page, you enter the key and Microsoft verifies it and then provides the install link under your account section

They are working licenses, but they are not intended to be sold that way. There are shops in China where you can buy windows licenses in large quantities and they are functional. However, they are not meant to be sold cheaply in the west.

I’ve never seen sellers of cheap licenses tell me where they got these licenses from.
