Finally ok ...........had to uninstall previous 24013 , rebooted and installed this latest , its a fine one !
Happy with it , thanks for your help 🍷 🎂

I've checked all settings and UI. Nothing new has been added! Probably just the performance issue has been solved. MS is preparing this version to send to Store. It's November (release date)... :woozy:

lets hope the made up their minds and makes the vital apps like photos and music player more logical, more polished and functional! but its a dream and MS never make dreams come true
at least apple make the proper eyecandy apps im not a fan just saying :P

Photos app, yes! I agree! It is trying to be better. But WMP (the new one) is absolute rubbish! The FilmStrip is on my nerves because every time you open an image/photo, it pops up and blocks the bottom portion of the image. It should not be a part of the photo viewer (mode), should be a part of the photo editor (Photos app edit mode, not view mode)! Nonsense! You have to click on the image or press the F key to hide it manually! It takes too long to load an image and the FilmStrip if you have a large number of photos in one folder (tries to make its FilmStrip thumbnails).

Unlike you, I am a big fan of macOS UI (not the iOS or iPad OS) :zany:. They work more than Microsoft on their UI than their OS functions (Microsoft do this inverse). i totaly agree! the not fan part of me was at their bussiness plan if explain it right...but besides that i like that Mac OS too has that consistency for sure! MS lost the way after windows 7 and they sell rubish with their online services promotions...an of fill of app(crapware) we didnt ask plus the ads at some windows versions
