I have been waiting for Microsoft to allow for deleting unused/unwanted apps from the Library. I know they keep your apps in case you want to install them again later...but there are many I don't intend to install. I really have to think now...everytime I want to install one...especially if there is a non-Microsoft store option. I just replaced my printer (an old Canon that had finally failed) with a new HP...I followed setup instructions that required "HP Smart" to be installed from Microsoft Store. I reluctantly did so and, even finding out after that there was a driver install program that wasn't MS Store...it seemed to be outdated...not sure if I would've had the same features with it over HP Smart. Anyways, and regardless, I'd be stuck with HP Smart in my library forever because I can't delete it. The same goes for old Canon app, and many other apps I "tried" but ended up not using...some from years ago. I wish Microsoft would let you delete apps you don't want...it now discourages me from wanting to try anything. Google/Android lets you...not sure about Apple. Has anyone heard if Microsoft will enable this feature...I'm not the only one who has complained.
