Solved Mouse unresponsive after wake from sleep mode.

Yes mate. No off switch. 2nd mouse was an old logitech. I thought it might be their drivers. Could just be a glitch due to running an upgrade from 10 to 11 and not a fresh install of 11. Im not ready yet to do that. I want to understand 11 a little more.
For the time being, it’s awake when the computer wakes. Thats good enough for me.

OK, your welcome but, I had another thought (doesn't happen often so, take it while it happens).
Intel controls all USBs on the PC. I re-installed on the 26 /06 to the MSI recovery and had a whole
bunch of updates from Intel on the USBs. Do you have the Intel Driver & Update software installed ?

Download Intel Drivers and Software

Download new and previously released drivers including support software, bios, utilities, firmware and patches for Intel products.

www.intel.com

Once more, check the USB Controllers in Device Manager. Specifically the Power Management tab
under Properties for the USB 3.0 . 3.1 / 3.2 / Thunderbolt (if applicable). You'll see the
"Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
There should be a check mark box next to it. Check to see if it's check marked or not. This might be part of your
problem.
Also verify that the Mouse Properties is as shown for mine. (screens below)

Yeah I had a look at the intel driver update last month after seeing someone here mention it. I ran it, it worked, but the only thing it offered was a bios update for my board which is already installed, from back in about 2016, my board is ancient. I found it odd that it was detecting a bios update, let alone one that was already in use.

They have updates every month like nVidia . Did you look at the USB Controllers and mouse?

All good mate. My mother (83) went to hospital last Monday for a routine sent but when she got there the surgeon told us that they had to perform an emergency open heart bypass due to the serious nature of what the tests last Monday disclosed.

Surgery had to wait for her blood pressure to drop wich took a couple of days and they operated last Thursday. 7 hours on the operating table. Straight into ICU afterward put into a standard induced coma. Following day was a bit rough, today she is up and walking around a bit. She should be at home in a couple of days
I have a great respect for hospital staff, their care is always above and beyond here. Miraculous what they can do now.

2 weeks ago, my uncle had to have a rather large tumour removed from his brain. Through the nose the went and took it out. I talked to him last night. He’s home. Just incredible. The leaps and bounds we have taken!

Sorry that you Mom had to go through all of this but, happy to hear that she is doing fine
and you as well.
I can relate. Mom had a stent and a pace maker all in one go when she was just a little
older than I am. She was a strong women but, at 89 she had terminal cancer of the bowel
and that took her in a short time back in 2020 just before the pandemic hit. I don't think
she would of fared well not having to go out. Her and her sister (97) were on the go every day
up until this happened.

Yes, all of this technology is paying off. Now, if only AI could come up with cures for these
dreaded diseases. Our Nurses and Doctors are not always given the recognition they deserve.
I wish I could have the strength it takes to do their jobs.

That’s really sad mate. I’m sorry to read it. Sounds like your mum got a lot more than anyone deserves on the health scale.

My sister has been a nurse for 40 years. It’s hardened her, but i think that’s due to the administration. Over the past 10 years or more I’ve had some pretty bad health issues. Mainly my heart. The nurses in the Cardio ward (everywhere really) are just incredible people. (Some quite flurty also

) I’ve never felt more cared for.

I’ll load that software shortly, I seem to be needing more espresso’s than usual.
