Solved Need to reset WinRE partition

Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (RP channel)
I replaced the SSD in my other half's PC
There were 6 partitions on the old drive:

Recovery (523MB, but only 14MB used - possibly from an old install?)
EFI partition
System reserved
Primary C:
Recovery (783MB) - this showed as Enabled on partition 5 when running reagentc /info before switching the drives
Data/games D:

I put all the partitions back on the new drive except for the first 'Recovery'

reagentc /info says Recovery is Disabled

reagentc /enable doesn't work (file not found)

I'm guessing the recovery is on partition 4 but used to be on partition 5 - can I get this to work again?

Basically I need Recovery on partition 4 now instead!

You have to manually copy the files into C:\Windows\System32\Recovery then invoke that command. The files you need are Winre.wim and ReAgent.xml

If the files are already in an existing partition can I not set that one to be recovery? All that's happened is the partition number has changed

There are all sorts of videos and instructionables about this on the web, including this forum. I also had an inoperable recovery partition I wanted to rebuild. In the end I decided to leave well enough alone since jacking with it might (probably) cause more harm than good. I image regularly and can always access the recovery environment from a windows install usb drive so I couldn't see a need for it.
One thing I will say is some folks suggests that doing a repair install will re-create a recovery partition. That did not work for me so maybe it's a mileage may vary thing.

How did you move the partitions from one drive to another?

Let's try this.
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
You may copy each line and past on the CMD windows

diskpart
list disk (it will list all drives. Identify the main drive number)
select disk n (replace n by the main drive number obtained with list disk)
select part 4
set id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac
gpt attributes=0x8000000000000001
assign letter=R
exit
Reagentc /setreimage /path R:\Recovery\WindowsRE

As mentioned in my original post, I had an SSD with 6 partitions but there was a 'spare' recovery at the start of the drive. When I replaced the SSD I put all the partitions back (using a Macrium image of the drive) except the first one, so the Recovery on Partition 5 (confirmed working before I moved it) was then on partition 4, but doesn't work now.
Will try the commands you mention here and report back

EDIT: This worked, thanks! Just what I was hoping to do. 👍
