What are you driving with the onboard audio? I would expect the Realtek onboard audio to be fairly good.

I admit that I'm not using that. My PC speakers are Kef Eggs, and I connect them to the PC using USB. (No sound card in use.)

It's a Realtek audio chip set but I can get a better one with a dedicated card. I just want to try it out and it's only a 40 dollar investment

Just some thoughts.......would probably be better to go with 2 x 32 ram vs 4 x 16. Many AMD systems seem to have issues with all 4 slots populated. YMMV Also something else to be aware of but 5600G is an okay cpu however it will not support Gen 4 SSD speeds even though the board supports Gen 4. I realize you only selected a Gen 3 Samsung drive. This is one of the gotcha's with the AMD 5600G and 5700G CPUs.
I built a micro ATX system using an X570 motherboard and chose the 5700G to avoid having to use a GPU initially. But I also installed a PCIe Gen 4 NVMe drive but I was only seeing Gen 3 speeds. Took a while for me to find out the CPU didn't support Gen 4 speeds.

I see that you were careful to get a card with Windows 11 support.

I haven't checked in a while, but a few years ago, many sound cards on the market were old designs. Too old,

I have the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core - ROG STRIX B550-F - good choice

Heads up on the mobo wi-fi though ... it's really light in the loafers (not fast enough for gaming) and Microsoft doesn't like it (even when it's disabled). I think they added that component as an after thought.

Couldn't use the CPU cooling solution that I wanted - It's really tight in there so I settled for something that allowed a little more room - the stock AMD cooling solution works fine for me.

My power plant is a CV750w and I'm good with that.

I'm only running at 32GB RAM ... I may add to it one day, but for now it's fast enough

That's why I went with the Asus.. they have much better driver support

I don't need the WIFI so this board is perfect for me. And I'm happy with the 5600G.

Not a bad price. Especially if it gives you better sound output. I see it uses the Realtek ACL 1220X codec. I guess that means Realtek driver?

Even Creative is teaming up with RealTek. The Audigy FX v2 has a RealTek chip on it.
