Solved No sound coming from speakers/ speakers not detected at all windows 11 22H2

There is no disputing that @MoKiChU knows their drivers. So far I have encountered only one instance of their being "unable" to help me and that was due to the physical limitations of my CPU. In that regard they were still helpful because I learned that I was trying to achieve the impossible. lol

I honestly don't know. I gave them such a hard time with trying to get Turbo Boost Maximum Technology 3 drivers to work on a non-Windows 11 compliant system I fear I might have driven @MoKiChU close to a nervous breakdown. My bad

ive written a message to them now, hopefully they have time to check things out. if not i might try and return the laptop, kind of at a loss currently unless another updates magically fixes things

I felt so guilty about this I actually bought a TPM2 module. I'm afraid to plug it in but at least I took the first step.

they told me they could not help cos their speciality was asus or something i cant quite remember, but they said on first glace it looks hardware related.

MoKiChU is being too humble, IMO. If they say it is hardware it likely is. You could try a utility from IOBIT called Driver Booster that is free (the paid version works better on other OS) that allows you to check your sound drivers but I am not certain it will clean out that static sound or not. Because you have perfectly good sound with your blue tooth I am not ruling out the possibility of a driver conflict. In this case it is not always possible to fix the issue until the manufacturer issues an update. Do you know that exact make and model of your Lenovo Laptop?

my model is YOGA slim 7 pro x 14IAH7. currently my sound is working but idk how long this will last tbh. yes, bluetooth has always been ok. will check out the video to see if theres anything i havent tried yet.

its already messed up again ahah i guess no use i will just send it to get repaired or something

Before giving up try this if you haven't already tried it already. In Device Manager find your soundcard and click on Update Driver - Browse my computer for drivers - Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer. You will get a list of all available drivers. From there you can try any of the the drivers in the list. On my desktop I have two drivers listed. One is the High Definition Audio Device (MS) driver and the other is the Realtek High Definition Audio driver. If that doesn't work then I would say that it's the soundcard.

Depending on your level of expertise and confidence you could try installing an operating system on a separate drive apart from the one you are using. This would definitely help you in determining whether you are encountering a driver issue or if it is something physically wrong with your sound card. Of course, if your laptop is still warrantied I'd recommend putting it into the shop. If it were my laptop I'd try to get rid of it asap simply because it's a Lenovo (but that's another story).

it is still warrantied thankfully so ill probs just go with that. can i hear the story about lenovo lol

I'm so glad to hear that it is still warrantied. Get on that ASAP. Please understand that in nowise do I have any intention of criticizing your personal choice in a product. In fact, as soon as you told me precisely which laptop you had I knew right away why you purchased it. This laptop is well known for being an excellent performer and has surprised many considering how most thinner, light weight laptops of this design barely keep up with the more robust gaming laptops. Yours was one of the exceptions. Alas, there have been issues. You can learn about them on YouTube.

Lenovo is not a company I would want to do business with for ethical reasons. They have been caught twice with their hand in the cookie jar so-to-speak with embedded code in the BIOS that generates fishing ware. They were convicted twice for this and were made to pay fines. You can search this yourself. I'll leave it at that. By no means do I desire to insult anyone here concerning their own user preference. Lenovo isn't the only company that is known for shenanigans of this nature.

That clearly suggests a problem with wires connecting to the internal speakers or connections to the 3.5mm Audio socket.
That will require removing the back to look.

As it is in warranty then get Lenovo to deal with it.

I know it's been a few months now but just wanted to give a final update lol. Ended up booking a repair in december in which they replaced the motherboard. Got sent back to me and the sound was still not working!!!! After several calls with lenovo support team / them gaining remote access to my computer to try again this whole reinstalling driver thing they saw it was still useless so they booked another repair for me in January. This time they replaced my speakers and the sound has been working ever since (knock wood) . Really relieved lol this was a nightmare

I guess Lenovo Technicians didn't take the time to investigate. They replaced the motherboard to make sure all hardware components including the audio chipset are fine. If they had done a proper troubleshooting either before or at least after the repair they would have replaced the speakers. I believe replacing the speakers is less expensive than replacing the whole motherboard. They wanted to avoid spending human hours on troubleshooting and they ended spending time twice anyway.
