I hope I am putting this in the correct forum
Bear with me it may soud complicated at first but it isn't !
I have a complex Excel workbook in my OneDrive area - "Always keep on this device" is checked and almost everythung wot=rks properly whether I am on-line or not.
But there's one exception.
I've customised the Ribbon with a custom group coontaining a lot of shortcuts to VBA macros - thay just make then easy to find and launch.
I set that up when I was on-line. However whe I am off-line (happens quite often) the shortcuts don't work. I discvered that's because the path the macros is specific to the actual file location.
I could get round this if my shortcuts to the Excel Workbook file always pointed at the local copy but here's where I m stuck.
If I make a shortcut to the local copy, or just click on the file, OneDrive interprets it as pointing there when I am off-line but shifts to the on-line copy when I am connected.
Is there a way for me to force only trhe local copy to open ?
