System Open Clipboard in Windows 11

Clipboard_History_banner.webp

This tutorial will show you how to open the clipboard for your account in Windows 11.

When you copy content on your PC, it’s automatically copied to your clipboard for you to paste.

If you turn on clipboard history, you can paste multiple items from your clipboard history, and you can also pin the items you tend to use all the time and sync your clipboard history to the cloud.

Size limitations are 4 MB per item. Text, HTML, and Bitmap file formats are supported.

Your clipboard history is limited to 25 copied entries. Older items—unless they're pinned—are removed automatically to make room for new clipboard items.

Clipboard history automatically gets cleared each time you restart your PC, except for the items you’ve pinned.

Turning clipboard history off will automatically clear all your clipboard history including pinned items.

Here's How:

1 Press the Win :win: + V keys.

2 Click/tap on Turn on if clipboard history is not currently turned on. (see screenshot below)

3 You can now paste (Ctrl+V) from and manage your clipboard history. (see screenshots below)
