Yep. Bottom plates are solid steel and thick, column is aluminum and has a channel to run the cable through, another channel to fill with sand. Came with two different sizes of steel top plates, and isolation feet whose heights are adjustable with a hex wrench through the top of the bottom plate. They are very well made and sturdy. Cheaper ones are mostly junk and I wouldn't trust my speakers on them. You can pay over twice that for stands.

The reason reason I chose these, besides their quality and isolation capability, was they are one of the few that provided the height I want to listen at - 30". Most are like 24"

My two online purchases this week was a 9" cast iron skillet to add to my other cast iron cookware. At times I find my 8" skillet to be too small and my 10 5/8" skillet to be too big. This fits the bill perfectly. My second purchase was to add the original series of the Outer Limits to my media collection. It's from Australia but will play in a region 1 (USA) DVD player. They arrived this morning.

Did they arrive yet or are you still waiting? I'm curious about how they sound. They look nice and from reading the description they should have really great sound. I went cheaper and bought a pair of Sony WF-C510 earbuds. I think it was @Edwin that recommended them. For the price I was surprised at how good they sound. Because of my poor hearing and the fact that I only use them on rare occasions I wanted something cheap but still had decent sound. Amazon.com

They'll be in my possession tomorrow, hopefully. I'm really looking forward to them. I've read some reviews on different sites, and the soundstage is apparently excellent. Some rank them better than Bose QuietComfort earbuds, which I have. Unfortunately, the left earbud is having intermittent connection issues. They got a lot of use, so I'm not too upset. The Sennheiser's were a little more expensive than replacement Bose earbuds, but I thought I'd give them a chance.

That's a great price for the WF-C510s.

From what I've read, Windows should support Audio LE. I'll try to pair them to Windows when I get them tomorrow and report back if I can remember to.

In some of the bad reviews I read, some people complained about the earbud's connection dropping frequently. Also from what I've read, not all devices support audio LE. That could explain the frequent connection losses they have. Here's hoping that my iPhone supports Audio LE. They should because my hearing aids (too much clubbing in my youth!) use Audio LE, and those pair with my iPhone SE2.

I had to order a new battery for my APC battery backup. About a moth ago my battery backup was making a high pitched noise. From what I found was that it could be a warning that the battery is going bad or just a false alarm. Unplugging it and waiting about 5 minutes before plugging it back in fixed it. This morning it happened again. This time the reset didn't work. I ordered the APC OEM battery from Amazon. It should be here between now and 10:00.

I'm still waiting for my battery. I kept checking on the progress last night because I didn't want the batter sitting out in the cold over night. After 10:00 I got a Sorry your deliver is delayed message. I been checking off and on today and there are no new updates except for the message Now expected today by 10:00. I do understand that the driver may have run into a problem yesterday that is causing my deliver being delayed. What I think is wrong is that there are no updates of where the progress of the shipment is.

I'm finally getting updates. At 1:20 PM it arrived back to the same location as yesterday. At 1:39 PM it went out for delivery. If it get's delayed again I'm going to cancel the order order and go to my local Walmart. I can buy a brand new APC battery backup for about $15.00 more than what I'm paying for just the battery.

Sounds like Amazon? This happens to me frequently when it's touted as being next day delivery.

I truly believe that the driver ran into a problem yesterday. It could have been a breakdown or and I hope it wasn't, an accident. Now that I'm getting status updates I'm ticked off that the the battery was so close to my area, going by the progress bar only to be sent back to where it started. Where was it between 7:26 PM yesterday and 1:20 PM today. Seeing as it went back to where it started I'm guessing it was in the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling would be proud.
