My town is having the power off for four hours in the morning and should I have my computer turned off or unplugged?

Turn the computer off, and turn the power strip off as well... about 10 minutes before the power outage.
Might want to turn off or unplug any other delicate electronics, as well.

Unplugged is the best. Just in case there's a power spike when they shut the power off.

Totally off topic - we were in Sitka, AK over the 4th of July. We stayed in a cabin on an island. This guy was settled in a tree about 50 ft from the front of the cabin.
