Windows 11 Home 22H2
Hi all, has enyone had this issue? I have a dell G15 5511 running Windows 11 Home 22H2 Build 22621.819.

The issue: I have three printers, a HP envy 5542 a HP 2015 laser and a canon LBP 3000 laser. the envey was found automatically no issue. the two lasers have no wifi and are connected by cable to another laptop and shared over the network at home. I can select shared printer by name

I can add any other printer from different networks by thier ip numbers without issue. and the other win 10 laptops on my home network have no issue finding and installing these two printers.

I have checked the spooling service.
I have Run the Printer Troubleshooter
I have changed the default printer

I cannot see any logical reason that I can get to the point of installation and not be able to.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Georgej

Latest Windows updates enable RPC encryption by default which causes your issue. See this thread to fix it:
