Recent Crash/Reboot for no reason

Found my computer restarted and was suspicious so I ran the reliability monitor and found it crashed. I then ran the WinDbg program and do not understand where the error is. So I came here and rant the V2 Log for bigger brains than mine to figure out what the actual error is and the possible source of the reboot. (It crashed during sleep mode if that means anything).

This is the second crashI've had in 7 days. The prior one occurred and dmp file showed ntkrnlmp.exe as the crash point. So I ran the update of Win 11 to the newest version: 22H2. Now I have this crash to contend with.

My computer is a 6-month-old HP OMEN 40L.

It crashed again. This time the dmp file showed ntkrnlmp.exe as the crash point. Attaching new file.
I just found out it crashed again when I woke it up to type these words. This crash looks the same as the post above.

I see that your PC has a HDD, not an SSD. In that case try running CHKDSK /R in a command window.

After that try running the batch file. It takes about 15 minutes.: -

My primary is an SSD: 512 GB WD Black PCIe® NVMe
My secondary is a HDD.

Thanks, I'll run the checkdisk.

But what errors are showing up in the V2 log? I can't make heads or tails of it and the Windbg does not show any Image Name for possible crash point.

Oops. The batch file contains a series of Windows commands and so it is safe to run. Give that a go as well.

I am not expert enough to comment on the V2 log.

Check Disk of HDD showed no errors. [see below]

I ran the bat file: sfc, dism and chkdsk of primary drive all came back clean

As I dug into the dump file again, I found the image name elsewhere in the file: dam.sys. That looks like something related to sleep mode from what I can research. My crashes have occurred during sleep/hibernate. I had sleep problems on my last two window boxes. What's up with that?

You state "(It crashed during sleep mode if that means anything)". I searched the internet using the phrase "computer crashed during sleep mode" and found several possibilities. Too many to mention here so I suggest you do the same search. Search results show that one possibility is to turn off hybrid sleep but also look at other things like driver and BIOS/UEFI updates.

Hope you get it fixed.

Windows 10 forum was able to read the files and found the wireless card was erroring out (although I use LAN). Unfortunately, updating the driver still did not help as it crashed again tonight after trying to wake it up.

Since the crashes have stayed steady (up to today with no dump files or obvious errors in the event viewer) and no one can read the V2 logs, I guess I'll roll back my 22H2 version.

Going to turn off sleep mode for a few days and see what happens.
