Anyone ever encounter this weird problem
Sometimes at random, the screen will freeze and update to the next frame exactly after two seconds(watching the clock at the system tray)

My laptop is connected to a 24 inch monitor by using hdmi
The laptop screen supports up to 240hz and the monitor up to 60hz
I have forced the refresh rate to be 60hz while using the monitor and limit the fps to 60
I am running the laptop in "Secondary Screen Only" mode so the laptop screen is off

When I am using only the laptop screen,I don't have such problem
To fix this "freeze",I have to switch to the laptop screen and when I go back to the monitor only, there is no problems.
I don't encounter this problem often but it happens from time to time

If I connect the laptop to the vga port(hdmi to vga adapter),there is no problems

Have you tried another cable,( hdmi or DP, whichever is used)? Aso make sure you are not using any adapters with your cable.

I have to correct myself about this

"If I connect the laptop to the vga port(hdmi to vga adapter),there is no problems"

it also happens with the vga cable but it's like it is even more rare
I don't have any other hdmi cable

In the Search box, type in ---reliability ---and check through Reliability History to identify,if possible, the cause of the freeze.
If there is a red flagged entry then select it and then select---view problem reports ---at the bottom of the page.
This should identify the cause and allow you to search for a solution.
