New computer. I do not believe this is a speaker issue.

When audio begins there is a pop. I believe I read somewhere it has to do with setting for the audio being set to sleep mode. When audio begins the popping sound
is the sound waking.

I can not find the setting.

Does this sound right or could it be something else?

I sometimes get the 'pop' but it seems to be related to the pop-up notification asking which device to use, headset or speakers.

Lenovo doesn't upload for the Realtek audio driver. I don't know why. That is what Lenovo told me.

I read somewhere I should reinstall my motherboard driver for a Realtek issue. Is that true?

On Device Manager what is my motherboard?

Actually even though the title said "Camera Driver" on Lenovo, it is the audio driver.

I was able to download the Lenovo Realtek driver. Did not solve the issue.
My computer is a desktop. Will that driver work?

Intel Core 7- 3700 processor.

I am receiving an error message when attempting to download that driver. Can I get it somewhere else?

I see lots of folks have suggested Realtek drivers.
It may be that Lenovo bundled the realtek driver in with your mainboard drivers - I would have no idea. Sorry.

First, take an image of your ssd.
Second, you might go the the Realtek site and see if they offer a driver for you. Or something like Realtek Audio Console.
Else I have no ideas. Sorry.

Depending on what you have (the Realtek Audio Control app or the old Realtek HD Audio Manager window panel), the solution can vary. This old thread is about how it can be fixed on Windows 10, but should still be applicable on Windows 11 at least if we can assume that you are able to identify the one solution that works for you: Realtek hd "popping" on outputs everytime a sound is made - Windows 10 Help Forums
