You'll have to rename the executable with something like sab.exe to be able to install and run the application.

In the meantime beware on future Windows builds it could be blocked again so I recommend disenrolling from Insiders and staying on 26100.1 until the fall.

Thanks, just typed random gibberish as the name and it installed.

OMG I’m going blind, I’d actually read it before I posted. Thanks (y)
I don’t get the version, 24H2 Home? Is that an insiders build or a forced install of 24H2 on a release version?

Yeah, I know. But is there an insiders Home edition? (Excuse my ignorance)

I ask because we had a member who was wondering why they had issues with their PC after forcing the install of 24H2 on their MS release Home edition of Windows Eleven.

Microsoft is trying to block blocking the installation of StartAllBack on 24H2, not that it cannot be ran but your gonna have to jump through hoops to get it to run , if you watch Moonnique at DeviantArt and Virtual Customs , she usually gives updates on StartAllBack and Windows 11
As for myself I remain on Windows 10 and use StartIsBack without any problems whatsoever, the only reason I watch Windows 11 Forum is so I can keep updated on how Microsoft is literally screwing everyone on 11. Not that I have not ran 11, I have , for a very brief period.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that special hardware be needed to have a "secure" OS and now that Microsoft knows that their prized OS can run on even ancient systems without issues and restrictions they have tightened the noose even further on 24H2 whereas your processor must now support SSE4.2 at minimum for your system to even boot. This will now prohibit most of those ancient systems from running the OS and installs on hardware other than what Microsoft dictates will come to an abrupt end.

It has absolutely nothing to do with security when it comes to Windows 11 or 12 for that matter, but has everything to do with money. Purchases of newer systems and hardware are down , these companies that make this stuff want your money and in turn Microsoft gets kickbacks from them and what better way to do it and generate profits than to create an operating system that will only run on newer , modern hardware ?
And NOW Microsoft is trying to dictate what you can and cannot install on your own system in order to monopolize it.

At this moment , Windows 10 still holds a 70% market share among Windows Operating Systems, while 11 comes in at only 26% , now, if 11 was everything Microsoft has cracked it up to be and being that Windows 10 was so close to end of life , one would think Windows 11 would hold a market share very close to or even greater than Windows 10 at this point in time , what this shows is that most are not buying into Microsoft's bullshit anymore. This is only the beginning with Microsoft , as time goes on the hardware restrictions will get tighter and some of you will find yourself purchasing newer hardware every couple or few years just to keep up with newer operating systems being put out , why? because Microsoft will dictate it, all in the name of security , which is total bullshit.

And not being able to install certain software , even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with it ....... has only just begun.

My advice ..... ditch 11 , if your an insider, jump out of the ring , reinstall 10, even if your system came with 11 it will run even better on 10 or install another OS . IMO , a CLEAR message needs to be sent to Microsoft, they broke their promise when they said Windows 10 is the last OS and realistically there is absolutely no reason whatsoever they could not make the OS changes they made on 11 to 10 without the hardware restrictions .

Microsoft needs to have some oversight put on them because they are CLEARLY breaking the law just as they did years ago when they tried to prohibit the installation of Netscape on their OS , luckily they did not get away with it back then and people were able to actually have a choice of browsers, but the way it looks now they have gotten even bigger and uncontrollable and it looks as though now they will get away with it, but only IF we let them.

BTW, StartAllBack runs on 10 too .... without restrictions.

@Dark Knight I pretty much agree with you. Mr. Gates proports himself as one who supports the green agenda but yet W11 sends thousands of PCs to the landfill!

Mr. Gates proports himself as...
You better read the Wikipedia story of Bill Gates, so that you know that he has nothing to do with strategy in the Microsoft company anymore. It's the present CEO Satya Nadella that you would have to blaim for "W11 sending thousands of PCs to the landfill".

That does not mean that I in any way would defend Mr. Gates (why would I?), but your statement is simply wrong.

Yes, that's more correct and you are not the first one to write that.

That's all I would like to write about it, because blaming MS is totally off-topic in respect to the subject of this topic: StartAllBack error.
If you don't like MS and would like write more about it, it's up to you to start a topic about that.
Chances are that the mods will close a topic right away, if it just was made to blame MS in general...

Oh no problem I'm done.
