StartAllBack

Hello,
I am using Win11 22H2. Originally, Windows enable access to Search Icon and Search Box in the Taskbar settings (see attached image)

Since I installed the latest version StartAllBack 3.6.1, I can no longer display the Search Box in the taskbar and its settings is no longer available.
Anyone can help how to activate both Icon and Search Box in the Taskbar? Actually I can get only the Search Icon.
Regards

As I wrote here above I have only the "Search" Icon/Button. I've not the Box see here above image. Moreover this option is already On (see attached)

However, I seem to have seen in the Windows settings an additional option of "Search" do not show, show button, show Button + Box. Unfortunately, I can't find it.
Regards
This app/utility is very much YMMV. It's like it's always in "beta". I have given up on it and "learned" to live with Windows 10/11 interface.

I just looked and on my computer I have Search icon only, Seach icon and label, and Search box. I don't have the option to Enable/Disable. If I right click on the magnifying glass I can check or uncheck Show Search Button.

Why all the hype about the Search Bar/Icon all the time!?!?!?
Just press the WinKey and continue typing!

There is simply no reason, none whatsoever, to have the Search Bar/Icon hogging Taskbar real estate! 🤷‍♂️

That's what I've been explaining from the start. Previously on Windows Settings/Personalization/Taskbar I had a choice: Search icon, Search icon and label, and Search box.
Without having touched anything, and suddenly the here above choice is no longer available, and I have only Search button: activate/deactivate instead.
P.S. I am using Windows 11 22H2 build 22621.1413

Can you take a screenshot of yr Settings / Personalization / Taskbar? here bellow mine

BTW, I asked SAB support (muut.com) about this.
His answer: It's no longer available in the OS. So, it has not to do anything with StartAllBack

Does SAB work on the latest Windows 11 beta 22624.1537? Currently the start menu doesn't work with the latest version and Qtranslate is also buggy.

Yes, true ...........only using the taskbar-options and the accentcolor ( explorer-menu) , works very nice !
Is the taskbar still working ok for you? I read in one of the forums (I occasionally peek there) that the latest Windows 11 update is wreaking havoc with SAB.

I've gotten used to W11's taskbar. My major gripe with Windows 10/11 remains that I can't access my "recent items/folders" when I use the "Save As" within any given app. Microsoft removed this functionality. It remains in Windows 7 though. My workaround is to create a shortcut on my desktop and then copy and paste the path into the application where I'm trying to either Save To or Open. It's an extra step which is absurd. Then again, using the official ChatGPT is absurd too in my opinion where you have to give up your actual mobile number to use their service. It seems "nobody" cares about privacy anymore and the selling of their private information. Some people never learn.

End of rant, lol.
