This tutorial will show you how to switch between compact and expanded layout view for Android apps opened from the Phone Link app on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC.
With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your Android phone, you can instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.
Starting with Phone Link app version 1.25091.39.0 and higher, you can now view your Android phone apps in expanded screen on your PC. You can switch between compact and expanded layouts for your apps.
Here's How:
1 On your Windows 11 PC while your phone is linked, open an Android app you want from either the Start menu, taskbar, Phone Link app, or Recent apps Phone Link notification icon. (see screenshots below)
To Switch to Expanded Screen Layout View for app
1 Click/tap on the Expanded screen button on the right side of the title bar. (see screenshot below)
2 If prompted, click/tap on Switch to confirm. (see screenshot below)
You can click/tap on the Back button at the top left corner to cancel.
You can check the Don't ask again box to no longer get asked to confirm switching between compact and expanded views.

That's it,
