Microsoft has already issued a rollback but the best advice is just to remove the preview update KB5037853. Patch Tuesday will be here soon enough…

I installed KB5037853 this morning and didn't see any issues with the task bar except that, the update turned on the "Search Box" again. I don't use it or want it, but MS thinks everyone wants it on. If I want to use it I can find it under the "Start" menu. I wish they would just leave my settings alone.

The update also reinstalled "Outlook", but it was easily deleted.
