I am sure this question has been asked many times.
My grandson got on my desktop and downloaded the Adobe PDF reader. Of course, McAfee came along with it, and now I want that POS off my computer!
Any secret way to erase it?
( I have changed my PIN and nobody but me knows what it is.)

@Try3 - Thanks for the quick reply. I tried their site but nothing worked. I may just reset the computer. First I want to be sure that will nail the application. If I do go ahead with a reset, I'll let the forum know.

Just go to your installed Apps list > Select > 3 dots > uninstall.

Same as any application.

Download and use the MCPR removal tool if you wish, however the last time I uninstalled McAfee which was pre-installed this was unnecessary.

As a working PC tech, there were several program that I carried with me on my Utilities disk, or Flash Drive.
One that I used a lot was the McAfee Removal tool. Then there was the AOL REMOVAL TOOL, and a few others, like the Norton Removal tool. And I was forever removing Chrome. It would sneak into someone's PC like a virus and try to take over.
Doing a registry cleanup afterwards was always a part of the process. Seems like none of the Removal Tools always gets Everything.

Download, install & run Revo Uninstaller Free here.

This will uninstall - almost - any app you want to get rid of.
