Remind me... what's the "Cast" button? Where is it located so that I may check for you.

And yes, my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is running Android 13.

I have Android 13 on 2 devices, on my Pixel the Cast button is there, but it's not on my Samsung Galaxy :unsure:

Yeah, I don't have that button. To be honest, I don't ever remember seeing it, but then I've also never used it.

Anyway, what phone do you have? Again, mine is a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Bought it in 2021.

I do the same with whatever media..., to the Google Home Max but, some apps do not have a Cast button, ei: audiobook player, and now the native Cast button is missing!!! 🤷‍♂️

For my Samsung S21 (with Android 13) I use the following to project to my laptop:
Link to Windows app on S21 & Phone Link app on PC
Phone Link on PC is used to start process

To cast from my Samsung S21 to my TV I use the Samsung Smart View app.
Note that Smart View is on the second notification page.

Step 1: Select the button Smart View

Step 2: I select the TV to cast to. In this case Samsung 7 Series (43A).
Note that Den TV must be a TV in my neighbors house because I only have one TV turned on.

Step 3: On the S21 I select Start Now

Step 4: On the TV I use the remote to select Allow for the cast to continue
