Not sure about that one since that was a ASUS G74SX-3DE, the replacement motherboard is not a original G74SX-3DE which has a 3D display connector and also a 3D controller connector, it's a modified 2D version with the 3D display connector added but the 3D controller connector is missing but the product key would not be in the firmware because wouldn't that only be only for systems that shipped with Windows 10 and later?
That machine shipped with Windows 7 Home as it's from 2011 got the free upgrade to Windows 10 when it was available. ASUS does not even support Windows 10 on that model, Windows 8 was the latest as seen here:

So the product key is actually on a sticker on the bottom of the machine and not embedded in the BIOS as this doesn't even have a UEFI bios.
