Hi All,
I'm currently trying out the power start menu that I installed from the microsoft store, I had been using the trial version but I decided to spend the $ 2.49 fee so I could obtain all of the additional settings & features associated with the application. Previously I was using the explorer patcher application but since the latest version wasn't functioning properly with my current version of windows ( Version 22H2 / O.S. Build 23435.1000 ).

I installed it as well, after removing EP.
I am quite impressed. Very professionally done and solid so far.

Did the same thing. Quite worth it and it works on the latest Canary build as well.

Kind of interesting.
MS keeps breaking the Start Menu till enough people get upset, that MS can sell them a solution. LOL

The app is from an independent developer. MS just allows it on their store and takes a cut. $$$$

How do you get rid of the silly alphabet crap ?
I use explorerpatcher though for just all apps like win-10 is capable of :/

They won't do that. If they do, it'll no longer be phone shaped. :/
They probably want to save that space for future ads.

When it seems like MS is doing something... nice, it means you're just not understanding their true motives.

Yeah - not obvious it was a 3rd party tool though, as you get screen like this for settings.
Cunningly designed to look like an MS app.

On my laptop, the old menu comes up and changes to this after about 5 seconds.
Also, can only show 36 shortcuts - no next page option. Additional icons are there but cannot be accessed.
Sill go a way to go. I am in two minds to just uninstall it.

Can it be loaded from a zip file? (Is there a portable version?) I hate installing utilities that might not be good long-term. In fact, I don’t like “installing” things, period.

I doubt it! It's an appx bundle, you have to install it, no other way around it.
