Which works BTW -- but it's time Windows explorer was totally re-written.

Even copying files between 2 folders whether on the same / different devices is a mess - and as for the whole wretched 266 char limitation on device / path/directory/filename --well that's about time that was fixed (it is "internally" in Windows ) but still 99% of the standard windows apps for file browsing use the old API.

Filezilla is one that uses the new API but after you've downloaded a file from a folder with a lonf#g path etc name file explorer itself has converted the thing to unrecognizable dos 8.3 format. !!!

with large 10 - 20 TB HDD's and even larger ones on some NAS file servers it's not impossible for many file names now to exceed the 266 char limit.

I'm missing something, as I don't see how my questions and Brink's answers regarding UUPDUMP builds for RP versus RTM have anything to do with Windows Explorer.
