Virtual Memory vs Physical Memory

Cerebrus, you are correct, I have identified the following app as the cause of the memory leak:

GameInput Host Service

Everytime I shut down or restart I have to disable this from the taskbar to prevent an explorer.exe application memory error message.

Some suggested I change virtual memory to fix this, but that probably won't help, as you said.

Any suggestions?

I googled "explorer.exe application error" and read many threads, and the only one that helped was a group of people complaining about the latest windows update and suggesting closing GameInput Host Service before restarting or shutting down.

I did a lot of trial and error closing various tasks before shutting down, and indeed the only thing that stops the error is closing GameInput Host Services.

As Cerebrus said, this app is probably leaking memory.
